TechFlow News, June 2: According to Yonhap News Agency, on June 1, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won met with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in Taipei to discuss collaboration on AI memory chips. The two sides reviewed their joint achievements in the field of AI memory chips and reaffirmed their commitment to jointly driving a new era of AI infrastructure development. SK hynix President Koo Rou-jung and other senior executives from both companies also attended the meeting. Later, Huang attended the “Korea Partner Night” dinner hosted by the Korean side, stating that the most critical elements of the HBM supply chain are performance, quality, reliability, and supply capacity—and that NVIDIA is working closely with SK.
