Both sides must proceed slowly and avoid any mistakes. Our relationship with Iran is becoming increasingly professional and productive. However, Iran must understand that it cannot develop or acquire nuclear weapons or nuclear bombs. To date, I thank all Middle Eastern countries for their support and cooperation; their accession to the historic Abraham Accords will further strengthen and consolidate this cooperation—and perhaps Iran would like to join as well!”
