TechFlow News, May 24: According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, if Iran reaches an agreement with the United States, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not revert to its pre-war status. However, the number of vessels permitted to transit the Strait of Hormuz will return to pre-war levels within 30 days. Iran emphasized its exercise of sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz through multiple means, with specific details to be announced separately. Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the maritime blockade must be fully lifted within 30 days. If it is not lifted, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain unchanged. Any modifications to passage or navigation through the Strait depend on whether the United States fulfills its other commitments under the MoU.
