TechFlow News, May 21: According to a report by Xinhua News Agency on May 21, citing the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA), Iran “is responding to the U.S. negotiation text,” currently discussing its “overall framework, certain specific details, and confidence-building measures.” The report states that the U.S. negotiation text has “to some extent narrowed differences,” but further narrowing of differences “requires the U.S. to abandon its war-oriented stance.” It also reports that Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir will visit Iran to help narrow differences between Iran and the U.S. and facilitate the two sides’ reaching a formal memorandum of understanding.
