TechFlow News, May 13: According to Bloomberg, AI company Anthropic is in preliminary negotiations with investors to raise at least $30 billion in new funding, with a potential valuation exceeding $90 billion—excluding the amount raised in this round.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the deal could be finalized as early as the end of this month, though it has not yet been finalized and no term sheet has been signed. Anthropic is the developer of Claude; if completed, this funding round would become its largest to date.
