TechFlow News, local time on the 5th: The Border Guard Command of Iran’s Law Enforcement Forces announced that, to strengthen control over coastal waterways in Khuzestan Province, border guards learned that two batches of fuel were attempting to leave the country via confirmed routes, with plans to sell the fuel to intermediaries in Persian Gulf coastal countries. Law enforcement officers subsequently identified and seized four vessels, confiscating 130,000 liters of smuggled diesel onboard. Additionally, personnel from the Mahshahr Maritime Police Base, during a separate independent operation, seized a merchant vessel and confiscated 68,000 liters of fuel. A total of eight suspects were arrested in the two operations. The confiscated fuel and involved individuals have been handed over to relevant authorities for legal proceedings following preliminary case documentation. (CCTV News)
