TechFlow News, April 29: According to an official announcement from OpenAI, OpenAI has officially announced a new phase in its partnership with Microsoft, reaching several key agreements on top of their existing collaboration. Per the announcement, Microsoft will continue serving as OpenAI’s primary cloud service partner and retain preferential access rights; Microsoft has also been granted a non-exclusive license to OpenAI’s intellectual property; additionally, Microsoft will continue participating in OpenAI’s business growth as a major shareholder.
OpenAI stated that this upgraded partnership aims to keep pace with the rapid innovation tempo currently unfolding across the AI field.
