TechFlow News, April 22: Today, Bahram Qasemi, Spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Iran has not yet decided whether to participate in a new round of negotiations with the United States. In an interview with the media, Qasemi said Iran participated in the first round of talks with the U.S. in good faith and with seriousness; however, the U.S. side displayed indifference, lacked sincerity, and repeatedly shifted its position.
He added that Iran has made it clear it would attend negotiations in Islamabad, Pakistan, if doing so serves the country’s national interests—but no decision has been made yet. Qasemi noted that the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports constitutes an act of aggression, and the shooting at and seizure of Iranian merchant vessels are actions unworthy of a nation genuinely committed to a serious diplomatic process.
