TechFlow reports that on April 17, Josh Stark, a core researcher and project manager at the Ethereum Foundation, announced he has decided to depart after five years of service, completing his transition. The decision was made in early March, and his tenure at the Ethereum Foundation will conclude by the end of April.
Josh Stark stated he currently has no concrete plans for the future and intends to take an extended break, spending time with family and friends. He expressed deep honor in having worked on Ethereum at the Ethereum Foundation and extended gratitude to numerous leadership team members and community partners for their long-standing collaboration. Josh Stark also noted that the Ethereum ecosystem has repeatedly achieved goals once widely deemed “impossible”—including network launch, decentralized finance (DeFi) adoption, and the successful transition to proof-of-stake (PoS).
Earlier news indicated that Trent Van Epps, a Foundation contributor, also resigned last week.
