TechFlow News, April 14: According to Bloomberg, informed sources revealed that the U.S. and Iran are discussing holding a new round of face-to-face negotiations, aiming to reach a longer-term ceasefire agreement before the two-week ceasefire deal—announced on April 7—expires next week. Proposed venues for the second round of talks include returning to Islamabad or selecting another location; Turkish and Egyptian officials are also involved in mediation efforts. U.S. Vice President Vance stated that negotiations have made substantial progress but emphasized that “the ball is in Tehran’s court.” Meanwhile, Trump claimed that Iran has proactively contacted the U.S., expressing its desire to reach an agreement. Iran denied any intention to build nuclear weapons but insisted on its right to uranium enrichment, adding that differences cannot be resolved in a single round of talks—leaving room for further dialogue.
