TechFlow News: On April 11, Iranian authorities reported detecting a U.S. destroyer departing from Fujairah Port in the UAE en route to the Strait of Hormuz. After closely monitoring its movements, the Iranian Armed Forces immediately informed the Iranian delegation then engaged in negotiations in Pakistan.
The delegation promptly conveyed Iran’s position to the U.S. side via Pakistani mediators and issued a clear warning to the destroyer: if it continued advancing toward the Strait of Hormuz, it would be struck within 30 minutes, and the negotiations would be adversely affected. Under the firm response of the Iranian Armed Forces and the timely warning delivered by the negotiation team, the U.S. side ultimately ordered the destroyer to halt its advance and turn back.
