TechFlow News, April 11: According to a CNN report on April 11, a senior Pakistani source revealed that U.S. Vice President Vance played a pivotal role in facilitating the upcoming U.S.-Iran talks set to commence in Islamabad, Pakistan. A source familiar with the negotiation process estimated that several days of negotiations would be required to finalize a ceasefire agreement, and Pakistani officials hope to persuade Vance to extend his stay in Pakistan to help facilitate this outcome. Additionally, a senior Gulf-based source indicated that Iranian officials hold extremely low trust in U.S. President Trump’s special envoy, Witkoff. Previously, Witkoff led multiple rounds of negotiations with Iran, all of which were interrupted by U.S. military strikes against Iran. Witkoff is among the members of the U.S. delegation participating in the Islamabad talks. (China News Service)
