TechFlow News, April 10: According to the Arabic media outlet Asharq News, negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will precede those between Iran and the United States. A preparatory phone conference was held today, attended by Nadia Hamad Muawad, Israel’s Ambassador to Washington; Yehiel Leit, Israel’s Ambassador to Washington; Michele Issa, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon; and Mike Nideham, Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State. Face-to-face talks between Lebanon and Israel are scheduled for Tuesday, chaired by Lebanese Ambassador Hamad Muawad. The Lebanon-Israel negotiations are now fully under the purview of U.S. Secretary of State Rubio, entirely independent of the Iran and Islamabad negotiations. (Jinshi)
