TechFlow News, April 6: According to Axios, four U.S., Israeli, and regional sources familiar with the negotiations revealed that the U.S., Iran, and a group of regional mediators are discussing the terms of a potential 45-day ceasefire agreement that could ultimately end the war. The sources said the likelihood of reaching a partial agreement within the next 48 hours is low, but this final effort represents the sole opportunity to prevent a sharp escalation of the conflict. President Trump’s original 10-day deadline for Iran was set to expire Monday evening. However, on Sunday, Trump extended the deadline by 20 hours and posted the new cutoff time—8 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday—on his social media platform Truth Social. On Sunday, Trump told Axios that the U.S. is engaged in “intensive negotiations” with Iran and indicated that an agreement remains possible before the Tuesday deadline expires. (Jinshi Data)
