TechFlow News, April 5: Middle East expert Mohammad Ali Shabani stated in an interview that he believes U.S. President Trump is prepared to carry out his threat to strike Iran’s critical infrastructure—a move that risks a severe escalation of regional tensions. In response, Iran has attacked Kuwaiti infrastructure to signal to the U.S. that it “will not back down.” He added: “The current situation resembles, to some extent, a standoff—neither side has a face-saving exit. Under these circumstances, I believe the likelihood of a serious regional escalation within the next 24 hours is high.”
