The statement said: “The Committee underscores that ensuring the safety of international maritime shipping routes is critical to guaranteeing continuous, uninterrupted energy flows.” It also stated: “The Committee expresses concern over attacks on energy infrastructure; restoring damaged energy assets to full operational capacity is both costly and time-consuming, thus affecting overall supply capacity.”
