TechFlow News, April 5: According to a draft statement seen by Reuters, the OPEC+ committee meeting held on Sunday expressed concern over attacks on energy assets during the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran, noting that repairing affected facilities is both costly and time-consuming, thereby impacting supply. The statement said: “The Committee underscores that ensuring the safety of international maritime shipping routes is critical to guaranteeing continuous, uninterrupted energy flows.” It also stated: “The Committee expresses concern over attacks on energy infrastructure; restoring damaged energy assets to full operational capacity is both costly and time-consuming, thus affecting overall supply capacity.”
