TechFlow News: On April 2, MLM (@mlmabc) reported that Drift, a Solana-based DeFi platform, suffered a hacker attack, resulting in the theft of approximately $270.6 million in assets—roughly 50% of its total value locked (TVL).
The stolen assets include multiple tokens, primarily: $155.6 million in JPL, $11.3 million in CBBTC, $4.7 million in WETH, $4.5 million in DSOL, $4.4 million in WBTC, $4.1 million in FARTCOIN, $3.3 million in SYRUPUSDC, $3.6 million in JITOSOL, $60.4 million in USDC, and $5.65 million in USDT.
Drift Protocol announced on X that, following confirmation of the attack, it has suspended deposit and withdrawal functionality. It is currently coordinating with multiple security firms, bridges, and exchanges to contain the incident and will post further updates regarding this security event on its official account.
