TechFlow News, March 29: The Big Four accounting firm EY announced the launch of the EY Blockchain Privacy Sandbox—a web-based development environment enabling developers to experiment with privacy-preserving smart contracts on Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible public blockchains.
Built on Starlight, EY’s proprietary and open-source zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) compiler, the sandbox converts standard Solidity smart contracts into privacy-preserving applications while preserving the original contract logic. By providing a web-based environment requiring no local setup and supporting API integration, this tool aims to lower the barrier for enterprises adopting zero-knowledge technology and facilitate feasibility validation prior to production deployment.
