TechFlow News, March 27: According to Financefeeds, on March 26, the Élysée Palace officially confirmed that French President Emmanuel Macron will attend the Paris Blockchain Week 2026, scheduled for April 15, and deliver a keynote speech at the Carrousel du Louvre.
On the regulatory front, President Macron is expected to emphasize the “European Digital Sovereignty” strategy and vigorously advance the full implementation of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), establishing a unified regulatory framework to attract global digital asset companies to operate compliantly across the EU. He will also cite Circle and Binance’s successful compliance under France’s PACTE law as examples of France’s regulatory approach, while promoting the development of euro-denominated stablecoins and accelerating the “Digital Euro” initiative.
On the industrial front, President Macron is expected to announce a suite of national incentive policies targeting startups in zero-knowledge proofs and post-quantum cryptography, and call for building a “unified European capital market” based on distributed ledger technology. This summit is expected to attract over 10,000 global decision-makers.
