TechFlow news: On March 27, Bloomberg reported that Google’s AI assistant Gemini has added a new conversation history import feature, enabling both free and paid users to upload chat logs from other AI platforms to Gemini as compressed files to maintain context continuity.
This feature has been added as a new “Import” option in Gemini’s settings, primarily targeting existing users of competing platforms such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude, aiming to lower the barrier for cross-platform migration. Alphabet, Google’s parent company, officially announced this update on its corporate blog on Thursday.
