TechFlow News, March 26: On March 26 local time, the European Parliament’s plenary session voted on the EU–U.S. trade agreement, which was ultimately approved. On March 19, the European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade voted 29 in favor to resume the legislative approval process for the EU–U.S. trade agreement. The EU and the U.S. reached the trade agreement in July 2025. Under its terms, the EU must eliminate tariffs on U.S.-made industrial goods and grant preferential market access to U.S. seafood and agricultural products, in exchange for the U.S. imposing a 15% tariff on most goods exported from the EU to the U.S. (Jinshi)
