TechFlow News, March 25: According to Bloomberg, Franklin Templeton announced a partnership with Ondo Finance to launch tokenized ETF products tradable 24/7 via crypto wallets. Initially, these products will be available in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America; their U.S. launch timing depends on regulatory progress. Five tokenized funds cover strategies including U.S. equities, gold, and high-yield bonds, with Ondo Finance providing round-the-clock liquidity support. Token holders hold rights to returns—not ownership of underlying assets—and may use tokens in DeFi applications such as collateralization. Ondo Finance currently manages approximately $2.7 billion in tokenized assets, while Franklin Templeton oversees roughly $1.7 trillion in assets under management.
