TechFlow News: On March 20, according to on-chain analytics platform Bubblemaps, a single entity executed a Sybil attack on the $ROBO token airdrop using approximately 7,500 newly created wallets, claiming a total of 199 million tokens—40% of the entire airdrop. Valued at the token’s listing price, this amounts to roughly $8 million.
On-chain data shows that these wallets were predominantly created about two months before the token’s listing. Their funding originated from seven exchanges, and all wallets exhibit high consistency in funding amounts, timing, and on-chain transaction paths—all utilizing a three-layer chain-transfer structure involving newly created wallets.
Bubblemaps stated that no direct links have been found between these activities and either Fabric Protocol or the Openmind core team, and the project team was informed of the investigation findings prior to publication.
