TechFlow News, March 20: According to The Block, Morgan Stanley has filed its second amended application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a spot Bitcoin ETF. The filing confirms that the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust will list on NYSE Arca under the ticker symbol MSBT. This amendment adds new fund details: the creation/redemption basket size is 10,000 shares; the initial seed basket is 50,000 shares; and the expected fundraising amount is approximately $1 million. BNY Mellon will serve as the cash custodian and transfer agent, while Coinbase will act as the prime broker. If approved, Morgan Stanley would become the first major U.S. bank to directly issue and sponsor a spot Bitcoin ETF.
