TechFlow reports that on March 19, Peter Steinberger, founder of OpenClaw, posted a warning on X: any email claiming affiliation with OpenClaw and containing encrypted content is fraudulent. OpenClaw is an open-source, non-commercial project and will never contact users via such emails. Users are advised to interact solely through official channels and remain vigilant against phishing and fraud attempts conducted by third parties under the guise of “commercial packaging.”
