TechFlow News: On March 9, according to JINSHI Data, the Wuxi High-Tech Zone released the “Several Measures on Supporting the Integrated Development of Open-Source Community Projects Such as OpenClaw and the OPC Community (Draft for Public Comment),” featuring 12 “lobster-farming” policies. These policies cover foundational support to industrial implementation, talent recruitment and cultivation to security compliance, with individual subsidies reaching up to RMB 5 million. The draft proposes full subsidies of up to RMB 1 million for local cloud platforms that provide free deployment and development toolkits. For OPC projects utilizing the Zone’s intelligent computing power platform, subsidies will be granted based on actual expenses—up to RMB 300,000 per project annually. Additionally, projects developing vertical large models—such as those for industrial quality inspection and predictive equipment maintenance—based on OpenClaw and officially registered with national authorities will receive a RMB 500,000 reward. Key technological breakthroughs—including embodied intelligent robots and intelligent quality inspection—will be supported with up to RMB 5 million. The establishment of joint open-source laboratories focused on “AI + Manufacturing” is encouraged; entities leading the development of open-source frameworks or formulating industry standards will receive rewards of up to RMB 1 million.
