TechFlow News, February 24: According to DLNews, South Korean prosecutors have charged a 39-year-old man with attempted murder of his business partner after secretly using company funds to invest in cryptocurrency—and suffering losses. Reportedly, the suspect purchased the banned pesticide methomyl from an online seller in China and added it to his partner’s iced latte. The victim collapsed immediately after drinking the beverage at a café in Seoul and remained in a coma for three days following hospitalization. The suspect faces charges of attempted murder and violation of South Korea’s Pesticide Management Act. The case is scheduled to be heard on March 10 at the Seoul Eastern District Court.
