TechFlow News: On February 24, according to on-chain data analytics platform Onchain Lens (@OnchainLens), Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold 3,765 ETH over the past 2.5 days, valued at approximately $7.08 million. Since February 2, he has sold a cumulative total of 10,723 ETH, worth $21.74 million, at an average price of $2,027 per ETH.
Earlier reports indicated that this move may be linked to Vitalik’s donation initiative publicly announced on January 30, in which he stated on X (formerly Twitter): “I will personally allocate 16,384 ETH to support the development of open-source, full-stack verifiable software and hardware.” The amount of ETH sold so far accounts for roughly 65% of the total planned donation.
