TechFlow News: On February 18, according to CME’s “FedWatch,” the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting rates by 25 basis points by March is 7.9%, while the probability of holding rates steady remains at 92.1%.
The probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate cut by April stands at 23.6%, the probability of holding rates steady is 75.0%, and the probability of a cumulative 50-basis-point cut is 1.5%. By June, the probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate cut reaches 50.0%.
