TechFlow news: On February 3, blockchain analyst Ai Yí (@ai_9684xtpa) reported that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has begun selling the 16,384 ETH he previously transferred. On-chain data shows that four days ago, 16,384 ETH—valued at approximately $44.75 million—was moved from Vitalik’s personal address to a multi-signature address and has now started being sold.
The analyst noted that this move may be linked to Vitalik’s donation plan publicly announced on January 30, in which he stated on X: “I will personally withdraw 16,384 ETH, and these funds will be used over the coming years to achieve these goals.”
