Emily Liddell, Deputy Commissioner of the BLS, stated in a press release: “Once federal funding is restored, the release schedule will be rescheduled. Due to the partial federal government shutdown, the BLS will suspend data collection, processing, and dissemination.” Additionally, the “Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) for December,” originally scheduled for release on Tuesday, will also have its publication date rescheduled.
