TechFlow News: On January 28, according to JINSHI Data, the U.S. federal government has yet to fully release the delayed economic statistics from last autumn’s government shutdown. A partial government shutdown potentially occurring this Sunday could once again force the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to close. Steve Englander, Head of Research at Standard Chartered Bank, stated that it would be highly regrettable to face another shutdown just as we are recovering from the effects of the previous one. Even a short-term shutdown could delay the release of the January nonfarm payrolls report—scheduled for February 6—and disrupt data collection for February.
