TechFlow reported on January 17 that according to Coinglass data, the total liquidation amount in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours reached $150 million, including $106 million in long positions and $43.84 million in short positions.
BTC liquidations amounted to $41.02 million (with $36.74 million in longs and $4.27 million in shorts), while ETH saw $18.37 million in liquidations ($12.64 million in longs and $5.73 million in shorts). A total of 81,492 individuals were liquidated within the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on the BTC-USD pair on Hyperliquid, valued at $5.10 million.
