TechFlow news, January 14 — According to foreign media reports, on Wednesday the U.S. Supreme Court did not issue a ruling on the legality of former President Trump's tariff policy, meaning it may be at least until next week before the final fate of this landmark economic policy is known. The court has not announced when it will release its next opinion, but it could come on Tuesday or Wednesday next week when the justices are scheduled to reconvene. During oral arguments on November 5, debate revealed skepticism among justices about whether Trump had the authority to impose tariffs under a 1977 law. An adverse ruling for Trump could trigger over $130 billion in refunds. (Jinshi Data)
