TechFlow reports, January 14: According to Cryptopolitan, the Cardano Hard Fork Working Group has proposed naming the 2026 upgrade to protocol version 11 "van Rossem," in honor of DRep Max van Rossem, who made significant contributions to blockchain governance. This upgrade will enhance node security, ledger consistency, and Plutus performance without transitioning to a new ledger era. Community voting began on January 13 and will continue through February 14; participants must stake at least 100,000 ADA to vote.
