TechFlow news, January 14 — According to DLNews, Burwick Law has refiled its lawsuit against Pump.fun and Solana executives, accusing them of creating a "manipulated, illegal gambling platform." Internal messages cited in the complaint show that Pump.fun co-founder Alon Cohen acknowledged that "most people lose money." Plaintiffs claim the platform's priority fee mechanism allows certain users to gain an unfair advantage when tokens are launched, and allege that specific crypto influencers promoted tokens without disclosing compensation. Despite serious allegations, the lawsuit lacks concrete evidence proving direct executive profiteering; however, the judge has permitted plaintiffs to file an amended complaint including 5,000 private messages.
