TechFlow reports, on January 11, Nikita Bier, X's product lead and Solana ecosystem advisor, posted on X stating that X is the best source for financial news. The platform is currently developing Smart Cashtags—intelligent tags that allow users to specify particular assets (or smart contracts) when posting market-related content. Users will be able to click these tags in their timeline to view real-time prices for the asset, along with all posts mentioning it. The feature will undergo continuous iteration and feedback collection before a public release planned for next month.
