TechFlow news, January 9 — According to The Block, Cathie Wood, founder of ARK Invest, said the U.S. government might "start buying" bitcoin to build a national reserve. Wood noted that cryptocurrency was "part of the reason Trump won the presidency" and could become a political hot topic in the upcoming midterm elections.
She further explained: "Above all, he doesn't want to be a 'lame duck' president. He wants one or two more years of effective governance, and he sees cryptocurrency as the path forward."
