TechFlow news — On January 9, according to CoinDesk, Polygon is nearing an acquisition deal with Coinme, a U.S.-based Bitcoin ATM provider. Sources indicated that Polygon plans to complete the acquisition for between $100 million and $125 million, with Architect Partners serving as advisor on the transaction.
Coinme, founded on May 1, 2014, is one of the first licensed Bitcoin ATM operators in the United States and currently operates Bitcoin ATMs across approximately 49 U.S. states. The company has previously expanded its grocery store kiosk services to support multiple popular crypto tokens.
