TechFlow news, January 8: According to Coinglass data, the total liquidation amount in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours reached $454 million, including $406 million longs liquidations and $48.09 million shorts liquidations.
BTC liquidations amounted to $142 million (longs $132 million, shorts $9.75 million), ETH liquidations reached $110 million (longs $99.87 million, shorts $10.23 million). A total of 132,779 people were liquidated within the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, valued at $2.99 million.
