TechFlow News, January 5th: On-chain detective ZachXBT posted that Global-e recently detected unusual activity in its network system. After investigation, it was confirmed that customers' personal data (including names and contact information) had been illegally accessed. The company stated that it has taken immediate action to control and ultimately secure the system, and has engaged independent forensic experts to investigate the incident. This event may be related to the previously reported second data breach of Ledger's cryptocurrency hardware wallet, which occurred through its payment processor, Global-e.
