TechFlow news, January 5th, according to a CoinShares report, global digital asset investment products saw total inflows of $47.2 billion in 2025, second only to the historical record of $48.7 billion set in 2024. The United States still dominates, but inflows decreased by 12% year-on-year; meanwhile, Germany and Canada shifted from net outflows in 2024 to strong inflows, reaching $2.5 billion and $1.1 billion respectively.
Notably, Bitcoin inflows significantly declined by 35% to $26.9 billion, while Ethereum, XRP, and Solana performed impressively, with inflows increasing by 138%, 500%, and 1000% year-on-year respectively, indicating a shift in investor interest towards selected altcoins. Overall inflows for other altcoins decreased by 30% year-on-year.
