TechFlow news, January 4th, according to Reuters, data from financial analysis firm S3 Partners shows that following Trump Media & Technology Group's announcement last month of seeking a $6 billion all-stock merger with Google-backed nuclear fusion energy company TAE Technologies, its short positions have recently surged significantly. Short positions increased by 31% to nearly 16 million shares, approaching the highest level since October. It is reported that Trump himself holds approximately 115 million shares of Trump Media, accounting for about 40% of the company's shares. Due to equity dilution resulting from the merger, once merged with TAE, Trump's shareholding ratio will drop to around 20%.
