TechFlow news, on January 4th, according to on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN) monitoring, the Ethereum staking exit queue has been largely cleared, with only 80,000 ETH currently awaiting exit. Since mid-September, when the price of ETH reached its yearly high near $4,700, as many as 2.66 million ETH chose to exit staking. During this three-and-a-half-month clearance period, the price of ETH fell by 34%, dropping from $4,700 in mid-September to the current $3,100.
The situation has now completely reversed, with the number of ETH waiting to enter staking far exceeding those exiting. Ethereum treasury company BitMNR (BMNR) recently staked a large amount of ETH, depositing 593,152 ETH in just the last 8 days, causing the current number of ETH waiting in the staking entry queue to exceed 1 million.
