TechFlow news, January 2, according to The Information, Elon Musk's AI startup XAI plans to expand its data center operations near Memphis.
The company recently purchased a warehouse in Southaven, Mississippi, and plans to build a new facility adjacent to its existing site.
XAI has already established a data center in Memphis, named Colossus, and is currently developing a second one, called Colossus 2.
Musk has stated that Colossus 2 could eventually utilize 550,000 Nvidia chips, with costs reaching tens of billions of dollars.
The company has not yet commented on the latest expansion plans.
