According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on January 1st, Trust Wallet CEO Eowync.eth posted on platform X to remind the community that some users may have noticed the Trust Wallet browser extension is temporarily unavailable for download on the Chrome Web Store. This is due to a bug encountered in the Chrome Web Store when releasing a new version. Google has confirmed the issue and is internally following up to address it. The new version of Trust Wallet includes a feature designed to help reimbursement applicants submit verification codes through the extension, which aids in better verifying the wallet ownership of affected users and distinguishing them from hackers/scammers. Additionally, users should remain vigilant against any counterfeit Trust Wallet browser extensions.
