TechFlow news, December 29 — Flow has released an update regarding the recent attack incident. Validator consensus has been reached and the proposed software upgrade has been accepted. The network is now entering the remediation and testing phase.
The Flow network has come back online and is beginning to generate blocks. However, general transaction processing remains paused as the remediation protocol requires further validation and testing. At 6:00 AM Pacific Time, the network will reopen as part of the first phase of the Flow Network Recovery Plan. The Cadence environment will resume operations, though accounts affected by the attacker's poisoning attack will remain temporarily restricted. The EVM environment will remain temporarily restricted (read-only). Over 99.9% of Cadence accounts will regain full functionality during this transition period.
