TechFlow news, on December 26, Trust Wallet officially confirmed a security vulnerability in version v2.68 of its browser extension, affecting approximately $7 million in funds. The company has committed to providing full refunds for all affected users and is actively improving the refund process, with further operational guidelines to be released soon.
Affected users are urgently advised: 1) Do not open the v2.68 extension on desktop devices; 2) Immediately disable this version and upgrade to v2.69. Trust Wallet specifically提醒s users to update via the official Chrome Web Store and warns against impersonators, advising users not to interact with messages sent through any unofficial channels.
