TechFlow news, December 26 — According to Fortune, Web3 ride-hailing app TADA plans to officially enter the New York market in June 2026. The app uses blockchain technology to connect drivers and passengers via smart contracts, with its decentralized system offering greater transparency, fairer driver earnings, and cost savings for passengers.
TADA was founded in 2018 in Singapore by South Korean tech entrepreneurs Kay Woo and Jay Han, known for its "zero-commission model," charging drivers a fixed software fee instead of a percentage cut. As of October 2024, TADA's revenue reached a record $19.8 million, up from $15.7 million in 2023.
Currently, TADA has expanded into Asian markets including Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Hong Kong, and is conducting technical trials in Denver, USA. Co-founder Woo stated that TADA will offer drivers in New York a new alternative, challenging traditional ride-hailing platforms such as Uber and Lyft.
