TechFlow news, December 23: Marc Zeller, former Aave employee and current DAO service provider, pointed out that while the day-to-day operations, risk management, and technological innovation of the Aave protocol are primarily carried out by the DAO ecosystem, brand assets and distribution channels remain unilaterally controlled by the private company Avara (formerly the Aave company). This structural imbalance could threaten the protocol's long-term development. Zeller called for transferring ownership of key brand assets to a DAO-controlled entity to ensure governance fairness and ecosystem health. He emphasized that if the system is no longer fair, talent will leave, ultimately undermining Aave's market position and revenue capacity.
